I love to write. People have told me for years that I should write a book. Unfortunately, I don't have the attention span required to write a novel length story. Blogging seemed like the perfect way to satisfy my need to dance with the written word, but without the accompanying stress and sour stomach.
I am blessed to live in the great state of Texas. I wasn't born here, but after nearly 50 years in the broiling suns of Houston and Dallas, marriage to a native Texan (who is the son of a native Texan), and birthing three more native Texans, I think I've earned the big hair and boots.
My family consists of my husband of 37 years, two sons, one daughter, two cats and a granddog. My husband, myself and our sons are die-hard Texas Aggies. Our daughter chose to bolt for Lubbock and Texas Tech. We still speak to her and remember her on birthdays and Christmas.
I am leery of revealing too much about myself as I value my privacy. In keeping with that, I have adopted a nom de plume: Prunella.
I am not anyone important and I prefer to keep it that way. I'm not looking for fame, notoriety or riches. This blog is merely a means of expressing my thoughts and opinions, a way to preserve my experiences. You, dear reader, are free to agree or disagree.
